Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery
BHMS (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery) is an undergraduate program in the medical field, encompassing the knowledge of the homeopathic system. Upon completion, graduates are eligible to practice as doctors in the homeopathic medical field, earning the title “Dr.” The holistic system of alternative medicine in homeopathy emphasizes enhancing the body’s natural healing power. The core concept revolves around stimulating the body’s self-healing abilities.
“Homoeopathy is a holistic medical system that treats patients using highly diluted homoeopathic medicines, primarily in liquid and tablet forms, to enhance the body’s natural healing system. It stands as the third most popular medical system in India, following allopathy and ayurveda. In homoeopathy, the interconnectedness of emotions, mind, and body is emphasized, with remedies selected based on their impact on these elements. Diseases or disorders are viewed as a result of disharmony in these aspects. Homoeopathic medicines are tailored to the patient’s physical symptoms, emotional issues, and lifestyle, with a notable advantage being their minimal or no side effects on the body.”
